Outdoors on Private Property

We have an initial meeting to schedule the pre-sitting consultation as well as discuss the sitting agreement and deal with the deposit (non-refundable) for the sitting. The client will need to provide contact information for the property owner (or their legal representative) so that our staff can discuss any details of the portrait shoot on their property.

About one week before the scheduled sitting we will meet to discuss clothing recommendations, confirm the location, and arrival time. With this type of shoot it is also required a member of our staff speaks directly with the property owner (or their legal representative) at or prior to this meeting to confirm permission to access their property for the purpose of the scheduled portrait photography.  At this time we will also review the weather forecast for the location.  The selection of an alternate location is recommended at or prior to this meeting to avoid the need to reschedule the sitting. At this meeting, we will also collect any remaining balance of the sitting fee.

One day before the shoot, we will go to the location to confirm conditions for the shoot.  If there are any problems with the location, we will call the client to update them on any problems with the location and if we need to reschedule or use an alternate location.

On the day of the shoot, we will arrive at or just prior to the scheduled time to set up equipment and work with both the client and property owner to resolve any last minute details.

After the shoot is complete and post shoot processes are complete, we will notify the client how to access the portrait proofs as well as the print ordering process.
